Roadmap

The CyberFunk Nexus is being built in phases. This roadmap describes the current plan, from the static front door at cyberfunklabs.net to the fully wired Nexus.

Phase 1 – Landing & Identity

Static Front Door

Launch a fast, static landing site on Cloudflare Pages with a CyberFunk visual identity, basic navigation, and clear messaging about the project.

Domain & SSL

Wire cyberfunklabs.net through Cloudflare DNS, SSL/TLS, and WAF. Ensure both cyberfunklabs.net and www.cyberfunklabs.net are cleanly redirected and secured.

Phase 2 – Core Nexus Stack

Application Hosting

Deploy the Next.js + Prisma application behind the scenes on a Node‑capable host, with Cloudflare still fronting the domain for SSL and protection.

Auth & Profiles

Enable registration, login, and profile management using NextAuth and role‑based permissions for users, moderators, and admins.

Forum, Wiki, Library MVP

Bring the core forum categories, basic wiki articles, and initial library items online at /forum, /wiki, and /library.

Phase 3 – Enhancements & Automation

Search & Moderation

Add unified search across forum, wiki, and library. Build out moderation tools: pin/lock topics, manage content, and surface high‑signal threads.

Automation & Integrations

Integrate alerts, webhooks, and automation to mirror activity to other systems, and tie into logging/metrics for observability.

Experimental Edge Features

Experiment with Cloudflare Workers and additional Pages projects for edge‑rendered features, API gateways, or specialized tools around the Nexus.
